I've never had the opportunity to meet someone with the name Spooky before, or anyone that says they are a superhero. What is that exactly, if I might ask?
Of course you may. I realize I am more formal than most here, but I'm trying to adjust to that. I'm not sure what a comic is, but I do understand the sentiment behind what you're saying. I think it is really amazing.
i kind if like the formal stuff, no worries. just do what makes you comfortable. and thanks. though i think i'm gonna have to show you what comics are sometime so you know just what you've been missing out on.
Negative. I do not base such assessments on the physical appearances of the individuals in question. It is simply that I am not an individual inclined to the casualness expressed by the line "have a good time."
If your self-esteem could be killed by one such rejection, perhaps it would be a benefit to work on improving said self-esteem.
Affirmative. Language is a tool much like any other and should be used appropriately. My people do not indulge in casual relationships and the thought is abhorrent to me.
i can respect that, what with words being big in shaping perceptions. but you're acting like language is this static thing that doesn't change it's less a conventional tool and more like a swiss army knife with weird ass attachments

Mr. Jones,
I've never had the opportunity to meet someone with the name Spooky before, or anyone that says they are a superhero. What is that exactly, if I might ask?
